VeraCore Software Solutions, Inc. today announced that HomeWetBar.com has successfully implemented the VeraCore Fulfillment Solution to manage their growing e-commerce fulfillment operation. Established in 2004, the on-line retailer has grown to become one of the nation’s leading suppliers of bar accessories, specialty glasses, drinkware, and personalized gifts for men and women.
The firm operates a distribution center located in Oklahoma City that includes an expansive warehouse and an in-house manufacturing operation that includes laser printers, embossers, pressers, large format printers and engravers that enable them to personalize any of the products they sell. HomeWetBar.com has experienced significant growth in recent years, and is now managing close to 2,000 different SKU’s and shipping hundreds of orders each month. The firm’s management recognized that sustaining this level of growth would require them to invest in technology in order to maintain their high levels of quality control and customer satisfaction.
The VeraCore Fulfillment Solution includes both an Order Management System and a Warehouse Management System, a fact that distinguished VeraCore from other technologies that HomeWetBar evaluated. Keith Winter, HomeWetBar.com’s founder and President elaborated, “We looked at OMS platforms that covered the needs of the front office and WMS platforms that could handle operations, but we really did not want to maintain two different systems. VeraCore was able to provide solutions for both sides of the shop on a single comprehensive platform”.
VeraCore’s Order Management System will accept orders from OS Commerce, HomeWetBar’s primary e-commerce shopping cart, Amazon and E-Bay. Once imported, the orders will be automatically processed based on business rules defined by Homewetbar. VeraCore’s suite of management dashboards and reports will provide them with up to the minute information on orders and inventory movement. The system will also proactively alert product managers when inventory levels for a given product fall to a designated threshold, so they can be sure to never miss sales opportunities.
The VeraCore Warehouse Management System’s support for barcode technology, rules based pick-and-pack and real-time integration with their shipping systems will help Homewetbar to maintain the highest levels of accuracy and efficiency throughout all fulfillment processes. Denise Lunden, President of VeraCore Software Solutions commented on the implementation, “The Homewetbar story is so exciting; the American dream really; we’re confident that VeraCore will play a significant role in their continued success”!
