VeraCore Software Solutions, Inc. announced today that Crossworx, Inc., of Ajax, Ontario has successfully implemented The VeraCore Fulfillment Solution to manage their clients’ order fulfillment programs.
Crossworx, which officially opened for business in November of 2014, has already established itself as one of greater Toronto’s leading fulfillment services providers. Led by industry veterans Tom Vidinu and Marlene St. John, Crossworx services some of the top brands in a wide range of verticals that includes the automotive and pharmaceutical industries. Crossworx operates a state of the art warehouse, managed under the watchful eye of Warehouse Logistic Manager, Connie McIntyre, another seasoned fulfillment pro and former colleague of Vidinu’s. Beyond its core warehouse management capabilities, Crossworx provides marketing and logistics services, acting as a true extension of each client’s business.
Tom Vidinu, Crossworx founder and President has been involved in the fulfillment business for close to twenty years, so when making plans to launch Crossworx, he knew exactly what he needed in a fulfillment software platform. “What we needed”, Vidinu explained, “was a system that would enable us to maintain the highest level of accuracy in the warehouse, while simultaneously providing our clients with the ability to actively monitor and manage their programs. Given the varied and often complex nature of our clients’ programs, we needed a solution that was both robust and extremely flexible – and that is exactly how I would describe VeraCore!”
Central to the Fulfillment Solution is a comprehensive Warehouse Management System. The system’s support for barcode technology and ability to integrate shipping systems help Crossworx to ensure accuracy and efficiency throughout their fulfillment operation. In addition, VeraCore’s Order Management System includes a powerful “rules engine” that enables Crossworx to manage each clients’ fulfillment program based on their unique business requirements. In addition, VeraCore’s extensive reporting capabilities enable Crossworx to provide secure online access to the data that supports their clients’ business planning and decision making.
Denise Lunden, president of VeraCore Software Solutions, Inc. commented on the implementation, “We’re so excited to be working with Crossworx. Given the complexity of the accounts they’re managing, this implementation was completed in record time. It’s a testament to the dedication and professionalism of the team that Tom has assembled and the fact that with VeraCore, even complex deployments can really be fast-tracked.”
